First-time homebuyer workshop set for Miami area

An upcoming Miami area workshop has been planned that will give those who participate some knowledge they can use to help make buying their first home a whole lot less nerve-racking.

Obtaining a home is often the largest purchase a person will make, and those who attend the First Time Home Buyer 101 information session will learn tips that can help them approach the task armed with the knowledge the need. An industry expert will facilitate the seminar, and there will be time for the attendees to ask any questions they might have. Presentation folders can be prepared ahead of an event like this, and these can be given to each person who comes out.

The discussion will cover an assortment of topics, including financing options and how to work with title companies and realtors so that they can get the most value for the money they will spend. They will also learn about the financial realities of buying home in South Florida, including the fees and closing costs they may have to pay. Along with all of this, they will discover the different programs available to help area residents purchase their first home.

This workshop, which can take some of the stress out of buying a home, will be hosted by Total Wine & More in North Miami on Wednesday, January 24. The organizer’s website includes further details for anyone who is interested in finding out more.
