Go-karting coming back to Medford

February 19, 2018 by

A new indoor go-kart business known as Rogue Karting has recently announced that it is in business and bringing back go-karting to Medford, Oregon.

Medford’s previous go-kart track closed down at the beginning of 2016 and left Medford without a facility – a hole that Rogue Karting has come to fill. While the previous facility was only 30,000 square feet, Rogue Karting’s track is 50,000 square feet, making it the largest indoor go-kart track from Sacramento, California to Seattle, Washington.

In addition to the large track, Rogue Karting has another 20,000 feet of space that contains private meeting rooms, large televisions, a special shop for professional go-kart racers, and a cafe. The Sodikart, which is the type of go-kart that the new facility provides, is capable of reaching speeds over 40 miles per hour on the racetrack.

For those who are interested in go-karting, memberships can be purchased online. With an annual $30 membership, races start at $10 each race and become more affordable as racers bundle packages together. Those who are not interested in purchasing a membership must pay $15 for each race that they want to partake in, and a minimum rider height of five feet applies. The new facility is located at 2065 Lars Way.
