Peters Township currently hosting naming contest

October 3, 2017 by

Residents of Peters Township, Pennsylvania can currently participate in a contest being hosted to rename the Rolling Hills Country Club property, which the township recently acquired.

In order to participate in the contest, those who submit park names must be residents of Peters Township. Anyone who is as young as five years old or older from the area will be able to submit one form with a name suggestion. Unfortunately, those who are working with the township will not be able to participate in the contest.

The winner of the contest will receive a grand prize of $250. Should an entrant submit a name that is submitted multiple times and that name is chosen, the township will put all multiple entries together and conduct a random drawing to determine which person will be the winner.

Those who are interested in participating in the contest can do so by printing the flyers that are available on the Peters Township website, filling out the information at the bottom of the form, and turning it in to the Peters Township Municipal Building on 610 East McMurray Road in McMurray, Pennsylvania.

Alternatively, the information at the bottom of the form can also be emailed to the Recreation Director at Forms must be submitted no later than Monday, October 16 to be considered.
