McKinney workshop to share tips for soothing a baby

March 19, 2018 by

A class is on the agenda for McKinney that will help new parents learn the secrets about helping both their baby and themselves get a good night’s sleep.

The Happiest Baby on the Block class will share tips that the organizers say can help to soothe even the fussiest little one. The techniques that will be taught have been developed by Dr. Harvey Karp.

The class is intended for both expectant parents and those who have a newborn at home. It will explore the subject of colic, as well as how a quiet house may be counterproductive to soothing a baby. It will also shine a light on why babies may be most demanding in the early evening, and also why fathers can often prove to be the best person in the family to calm their infant.

The registration fee for the workshop is $50 each, and this includes a copy of the Happiest Baby on the Block DVD. Parents who have a baby who is three months or younger are welcome to bring them along. A printer can use graphic design to produce DVD covers and other items for this type of occasion.

This event is scheduled to be held in Andrea Heston Counseling, which is located at 6675 Mediterranean Drive in McKinney. Anyone who would like more details has been asked to visit the organizer’s website.
