McKinney meal to celebrate locally sourced food

July 20, 2017 by

More and more people are discovering the joys of creating tasty meals using locally sourced ingredients, and this will be showcased during a special meal planned for McKinney.

Patina Green Home and Market will be hosting a meal that features a fixed menu inspired by ingredients that are fresh from the farm. It will be served in tasting menu style, and will include five courses as well as snacks. Anyone who would like to add specially selected beers and wines to pair with their dinner can do so for an additional charge.

Tickets for the occasion are sold in sets of two, four, or six, and these are the group sizes that the tables at the venue can accommodate. The chefs who will be preparing the food can accommodate dietary restrictions and requirements, so long as they are informed ahead of the event. The admission price has been set at $85 each, which includes a gratuity but not tax. A local stationery printing company can both design and then print special menus for the occasion

The Patina Green August Market Dinner, which will feature ingredients sourced fresh from the farm, has been planned for the evening of August 19. More information and an opportunity to purchase tickets well in advance can be found on the event listings on the host’s website.
