McKinney Chamber of Commerce to host bag stuffing day

February 15, 2018 by

The McKinney Chamber of Commerce has organized an event that will give local businesses a chance to welcome newcomers to the community, while at the same time letting them know what products and services they have to offer.

Members of the Chamber that wish to participate are invited to attend the bag stuffing meeting and bring along the promotional products they would like to include. Once they are filled, the bags will be distributed by Progressive Waste Solutions, which will hand out the bags when it delivers the new residents’ recycling bins.

Those who would like to have their products added to the welcome bags are asked to turn up with 100 of whatever one item they wish to use, such as brochures or promotional pens. The organizers have requested that candy or other food should not be used for this, and that any coupons or other offers should be good for at least three months. They also noted that the program is free for Investor Partner level chamber memberships, while Business Partner level members will be asked to pay $5.00 to participate.

The New Resident Bag Stuffing day will be held on March 12th at 400 W. Virginia St., Ste. 100. Anyone who requires more information has been asked to contact info@mckinneychamber.com, and the Chamber’s website also includes further details about this and the other initiatives it has to offer the local business community.
