Mansfield plays golf for education

The annual Mansfield ISD Education Foundation is hosting its 19th Annual Golf Tournament in June. Four-person teams begin scramble play using a shotgun start at the morning tee off.

Golfers will receive golf shirts and towels sporting the golf shirt and the towel sponsor’s graphic design, and golf balls with the golf ball sponsor’s logo design. They will also get goodie bags stamped with the Goodie Bag sponsor’s company logo, which will contain items and promotional products donated by local merchants and businesses.

Lunch and dinner are included in the $150 individual entry, the $600 team entry registration and the corporate platinum ($5000), gold ($2,000), silver ($1,000), and bronze ($750) sponsor levels.

Over 100 items donated by local individuals, merchants, and other businesses will be raffled, and there will be a silent auction of items contributed by event sponsors before and during the dinner.

Profits from this event will go to benefit the Mansfield ISD Education Foundation – a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that distributes grants to ISD educators for innovative programs and to deserving local students to further their education.

The 19th Annual Mansfield ISD Education Foundation Golf Tournament will be June 11 from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Walnut Creek Country Club, 1151 Country Club Drive. Participants will tee off at 9:00 am on either the Pecan or Oak courses.
