Mansfield holds annual St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade

Mansfield will once again be the location for the world’s only St. Patrick’s Day Pickle Parade and accompanying Palooza.

The event begins at noon with packet pick-ups for the Kids K, and the Pickle 10K and 5 K runs which will take place the following morning. Main Street will be the location for the annual keg races. Spectators will want to get some banner printing done to support their favorite runners for this one. Coffey Anderson will be heading a show that evening at the Best Maid Stage.

St. Patrick’s Day morning will begin with the Methodist Mansfield Pickle races. The Vendor Market, Food Court and the Pickle Playground will open and Camp Anothen Kids Korner Stage will begin having performances. Before noon, the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders will be signing autographs, the Swashchucklers Comedy Show will be on the Main Stage, and Run 4 Cover Band will be on the Best Maid Stage.

There will be a Baby Parade at 10:00 am, a Pet Parade at noon, and the St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade will begin at 1:00 pm. After the parade, Downtown Fever will have a stage show, and later contests will include pie eating, pickle eating, and pickle juice drinking.

The Palooza will be March 16 and 17 in downtown Mansfield, with the parade on March 17.
