Manchester home to new bank branch

April 1, 2018 by

A new branch of Farmington Bank recently opened in Manchester.

Chairman, President and CEO of Farmington Bank, John J. Patrick, Jr., said that the branch will continue the bank’s tradition as an institution that has gained the trust of the community. It offers several commercial and consumer banking products and supports the community through the Farmington Bank Community.

The branch is 2,000 square feet in size with an open floor setting designed to be modern and customer-friendly. Instead of traditional lines for tellers, there are pods where bankers meet customers and help them with all their banking needs. There is also a drive-up ATM and a drive-up transaction window for more personalized service, plus a free coin counting machine.

The bank will be holding a Grand Opening celebration that will last through the month of April. The celebrity spokesperson for the bank and former Major League Baseball pitcher, Tim Wakefield, will be present from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, April 7 to meet the public and sign baseballs.

As part of the month-long celebration, there will be prizes given out daily and special events for families and people of all ages.

Banner printing companies can be hired to create banners for display throughout the community to help promote bank services and make people aware of new branches opening.
