A networking and information session will be hosted later this month by the Malden Chamber of Commerce for vendors for the Wynn Boston Harbor Casino and Resort to be built in Everett.

According to the executive director of the Malden Chamber of Commerce, Jenna Coccimiglio, the target market for the event is professionals and business owners in Malden, Melrose, Everett, Revere, and other cities in the surrounding area. Anyone can attend and find out how they can expand their opportunities.

Coccimiglio said that discussions between the Chamber and Wynn Resorts, which has been a member of the Chamber since March 2014, have been taking place for about a year with a view towards creating an event like this. It was determined that the fall would be the best time to bring together as many members as possible to the event.

According to the President of Wynn Boston Harbor, Robert DeSalvio, the hotel has received its license from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection after a thorough environmental review processes, and began hiring and construction last month.

The event will be held in Malden at the Irish American Club, and will be from 8:30 to 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 27. The Malden Chamber of Commerce has used poster printing to put together a piece promoting the event in the local area.
