Local paint store expands into interior design and decorating

Town Line Wallpaper & Paint, a family-owned business in Malden, recently celebrated more than 50 years in operation as it offered its customers two new services.

The showroom has been remodeled to display a greater collection of paint, stain, window coverings, and wallpaper and a full interior-decorating program has been introduced to help customers in redecorating their businesses or homes.

The store was opened 52 years ago by the grandfather of brothers and co-owners, Todd and Gary Zigelbaum. Todd said that Town Line has been able to stay in business all these years through expansions and reinvestments in the business. Employees have over 35 years of experience in the area and the store has state-of-the-art equipment.

He added that the plan is for the store to become more of a decorating center with the expanded showroom and new interior decorating department. The many selections of designer fabrics from England and European paints are what makes the store so special, Todd said, in addition to the major paint brands from the local area.

Flyer printing companies could be used by stores like Town Line to create flyers with general information about their celebration events, as well as weekly flyers for any specials and vendor meet and greets that may also take place as part of the special celebrations.
