KHS Pet Resorts offering emergency shelter

March 7, 2018 by

The Kentucky Humane Society pet resorts in Louisville, Kentucky recently announced that they are offering emergency shelter for animals displaced by recent flooding.

Before pets can be accepted into the resort, they must have already had their core vaccinations and their two vaccinations for the Canine Influenza Virus. These emergency services are currently available but those who want to admit their pet must do so immediately because there is a lack of availability at the resorts.

Those who need these services can reach out to either the Eastpoint Pet Resort or the Fern Creek Pet Resort. The phone number for the Eastpoint Pet Resort is (502) 253-2221 and the number for the Fern Creek Pet Resort is (502) 499-1910. Both of these resorts will be able to take phone calls from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and no walk-ins will be allowed because of the lack of space in the facilities.
