The Kentucky Humane Society recently announced that it will be hosting its 24th Annual Waggin’ Trail Walk and Festival in Louisville, Kentucky next month.

The Waggin’ Trail Walk and Festival is an opportunity for pet owners and lovers to support the Kentucky Humane Society and to make friends with people and pets in the community.

Besides the walk, the event will also be offering vendor booths with food and fun for both animals and children as well as activities and live music. Registration is required of all those who wish to participate, and both registration and donations can be made through the Kentucky Humane Society website.

Those who register for the event will also receive a free T-shirt with the logo design of the Kentucky Humane Society logo design and ‘Waggin’ Walk’ picture, which was created by design students in the 2018 class at the Pleasure Ridge Park High School.
The event will be taking place on June 10 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Louisville Water Tower. The two-mile walk itself, however, will be starting at 2:30 pm.

All donations will go towards supporting their $100,000 fundraiser goal. For more information about the Waggin’ Trail Walk and Festival or to learn more about the services provided by the Kentucky Humane Society, visit its website or call (502) 515-3147.
