Upcoming symposium set to educate businesswomen

February 3, 2018 by

The Women’s Symposium of Southern California is taking place next month in Long Beach.

The event is held to recognize International Women’s Day and all attendees are encouraged to wear purple to symbolize the day.

There will be keynote speakers, panels of industry experts, free refreshments, and a cash bar. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose two out of five breakout sessions. Topics are set to include how to create and manage a financial plan, balancing family and personal needs, and developing a small business. A panel of experts on each topic will be leading the discussion and no doubt there will be the opportunity for questions and answers.

The symposium will also be a great networking opportunity for local business leaders. No doubt many of the Long Beach residents who are planning to attend this event will be placing a new business card printing order with their local stationery printing firm. There will be plenty of chances to exchange cards during the evening event.

Admission to the symposium is free but there are various donation suggestions to help fund it; donation levels are $50, $75, $100, and $125.

The Women’s Symposium of Southern California will be held at the Long Beach Marriott on March 8 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. For more information, visit the official website.
