Upcoming event to ensure youth programs continue

April 7, 2018 by

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach is holding its annual gala this month. The theme of this year’s is ‘Here’s Looking at You, Kid’.

The gala is set to feature both silent and live auctions of items donated by local businesses and individuals. There will also be a sit-down dinner and a kids’ program. Live music will be provided by Spencer Day and there will be opportunities to dance.

Organizers are still accepting items for the silent and live auctions. In addition, sponsorships are available from $1,500 up to $10, 000; sponsors will be recognized in the event program everyone will receive and on signage at the event. Program advertisements are also available for $250 and $500 depending on size.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach provide over 20 programs for children between the ages of 6 and 18; these include after-school programs.

When they need an event program for charity events, organizers will often contact a Long Beach brochure printing firm for help.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach annual gala will be held at the Westin Long Beach on April 21 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $250 each and tables of 10 are available. For more information about this event, or about the Boys and Girls Clubs, call Kari at 562-595-5945.
