Mardi Gras event to assist special needs cause

February 10, 2017 by

The 6th annual Mardi Gras Celebration is taking place next month, raising funds for the Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN).

Guests will enjoy food tastings from several area restaurants, as well as wine and beer from local wineries and breweries. They will also enjoy New Orleans-style cocktails and be entertained by live jazz music. In addition, they will have the opportunity to mingle with those who work with the PTN and meet their business peers in a relaxed setting.

Sponsorships are available from $750 to $7,500. Sponsors will receive recognition on all printed and online advertising, as well as their logo on a sponsor sign at the event that will no doubt have been obtained from a local printing company. It is also likely that business leaders from all over the area, including Long Beach, will be standing in line to sponsor this event.

The Pediatric Therapy Network provides various programs and services for children with special needs and has locations in both Long Beach and Torrance. Some of its programs are summer camps, ski trips, early intervention, and the teaching of social skills.

The Mardi Gras Celebration will be held at the Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Torrance on March 2 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Tickets are $45 each. For more information, contact Allison Young at 310-328-0276 x202.
