Auto racing returns to Long Beach this spring

March 26, 2018 by

The 44th annual Toyota Grand Prix is taking place over three days next month in Long Beach.

The event features six races through downtown Long Beach over the three-day event, including the Motegi Racing Super Drift Challenge and the Historic Trans Am Challenge. This year’s grand marshal will be Scott Pruett.

There will also be a wide variety of family-friendly activities taking place in the city. A Lifestyle Expo is expected to have over 150 displays, and there will be plenty of cars on display as well as information about recreation and travel opportunities. Devoted fans can attend autograph sessions with some of the drivers. For the children, there will be rock climbing, games, and racing simulators.

In addition, more than 100 exotic cars will be on display in the downtown area, together with concerts by bands such as ‘80s rock legends The Cult. There will also be food trucks and wine bars.

No doubt one or more Long Beach print shops have been asked to provide advertising materials such as posters.

The Toyota Grand Prix will be held from April 13 to 15. General admission tickets range in price from $33 to $70 per day, or a three-day pass is available for $95. There are also several VIP access tickets at various prices. For the most current information, call 1-888-827-7333.
