Annual street party returns to Long Beach

December 6, 2016 by

The New Year’s Eve on Pine Avenue celebration is returning this year, presented by the Downtown Long Beach Alliance.

The festival takes place over three blocks on Pine Avenue and has three stages of musical entertainment. This year, the featured performers are set to include Big Data, Citizen Cope, the Delta Bombers, Plastic Plates, DJ Paul V, Hirie, and Cut Copy DJ. Attendance is open to people of all ages. There will be food available for purchase, as well as access to several outdoor bar areas. There will also be a countdown at midnight.

As with other years, the Waterfront amphitheater will be providing free family-friendly programming earlier in the evening. In the past this has included children’s activities such as face painting and balloon artists, as well as a vantage point to see the fireworks display over the water.

When events such as this are taking place in the city, Long Beach stationery printing companies are often asked to provide advertising flyers for distribution.

The New Year’s Eve on Pine Avenue celebration will be held between 1st and 4th Avenues on December 31 from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am. Tickets are $40 each until December 25 and then $50. To find out the latest information about this annual event, contact the Downtown Long Beach Alliance at 562-436-4259.
