The 2nd annual Long Beach Vegan Festival is taking place next month.

It is set to feature many earth-friendly vendors who will be selling environmentally sustainable products such as clothing and a variety of vegetarian and vegan foods.

Guests will be able to enjoy the Chili Cook Off and see who is awarded the Vegan Chili Champion trophy. The top three finishers in the cook-off will receive gift bags and award ribbons as well. It is likely that the public will have the opportunity to taste the chilies.

There will be musical entertainment from artists such as The Flusters, Soft White Sixties, and Rosie Flores throughout the day as well as art installations and bars. Guests can also participate in Veg Speed Dating and possibly meet the person of their dreams.

In addition, 100 goodie bags will be raffled off to those in attendance. These will likely be filled with items such as samples, promotional products, and coupons from a variety of participating Long Beach vendors.

VIP tickets can be purchased for $45. These include access to a private bar, shaded seating, and a swag bag.

The Long Beach Vegan Festival will be held at Rainbow Lagoon Park on July 8 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Admission is $17 or free for children ages 12 and under. To learn more about this event, visit the official website.
