Upcoming fundraiser celebrates the arts

The 27th annual H’Artful of Fun: a Stellar Evening is taking place next month in Lexington, raising funds for the Living Arts and Science Center.

This event has been named the best fundraiser in the city and attracts hundreds of people each year. Guests will enjoy plenty of food and an open bar throughout the evening. There will be live and silent auctions featuring items of all types donated by local businesses, such as travel packages and sports tickets.

There will also be live musical entertainment and dancing. Guests can travel up to the rooftop garden to gaze through the telescope and check out the planets. In addition, several art activities will be taking place.

The Living Arts and Science Center features an art gallery, a planetarium, and exhibits such as the Out of this World: A Space Adventure, which will be showing until October. It also provides outreach programs to the community.

It is likely that the donators to the auctions will be recognized at the event through signage that will probably be provided by a Lexington printing company.

The H’Artful of Fun: a Stellar Evening will be held at the Living Arts and Science Center on April 29 from 7:00 to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $100 until April 19 and $120 after. Call 859-252-5222 for more information.
