Upcoming conference brings leaders together

The 4th annual Emerge conference is taking place this month in Lexington. It is presented by the Forcht Bank and Commerce Lexington, Inc.

The conference is aimed at emerging business leaders and provides them with information on how to have a healthy work/life balance. Attendees will be able to choose between three tracks; professional, personal and community. Topics of discussion are set to include retirement, career trajectory and creativity.

There will be a luncheon served with keynote speakers Rebecca Darwin from Garden and Gun and Marianne Barnes of the Castle and Key Distillery. Guests will also have the opportunity to network with their peers at a reception.

Area businesses also have the opportunity to rent exhibit space to showcase their products and services. The fee for space is $350.

Most of the Lexington business leaders planning to attend this conference will no doubt be bringing along their premium business cards. There will be plenty of chances to talk about business and to exchange peers in order to grow a referral network.

The Emerge conference will be held at the Lexington Center Corporation on March 28 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Conference fees are $125 for Commerce Lexington members, $149 for non-members and $50 for students; luncheon only tickets are $50 or $60. Tables of 10 are also available for $900.
