Lexington eateries to get August spotlight

The Crave Lexington festival is taking place next month over two days. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to several local charities.

The festival promises to feature over 50 Lexington restaurants that will be selling samples of their food. Tickets will cost $2, $3, and $5. The public will also have the opportunity to experience the cuisine of some of the top chefs in the city. Several area food trucks will also be on hand, and cocktails and craft beer will be available for purchase. The event will have a ‘Crave Buck’ system in place, with these coins used to buy food and drink samples.

In addition to food, there will be musical entertainment from 10 local acts (to be named closer to the event), children’s activities such as inflatables, face painting and art projects, and a classic car show.

There are several ticket packages available for the festival. General admission is $6, a couple’s package is $59 and includes 50 Crave Bucks, power couple is $79 with 80 Crave Bucks, a family pack is $125 and includes 125 Crave Bucks, and deluxe family pack is $149 with 150 Crave Bucks.

Flyer printing firms in Lexington are often asked to provide printed advertising products for events like this one, which will be held at Masterson Station Park from August 12 to 13. Call 859-266-6537 to learn more.
