The Kentucky Wine and Vine Festival is taking place for three days next month in Lexington.

A variety of events are planned for the festival, the first of which will be the Farm to Table Dinner on May 11 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, which will be held at North 1st Street. Guests will be treated to a meal prepared by several local celebrity chefs and will have the opportunity to try some award-winning wines. There will also be live musical entertainment. Tickets are $75 each.

The next day is set to feature Equine and Wine Tours to such sites as Taylor Made Farm and the Chrisman Mill Winery and Vineyards. This costs $70 per person.

The full festival will occur on May 13 in Nicholasville. It includes the Run for the Merlot 5K, a 1K kids’ run, food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, an art show, and live jazz and ragtime music.

Other activities taking place over the three-day festival include a cooking with Kentucky wine workshop and the Ultimate Demo and Dining Experience.

Lexington wine and food lovers will no doubt be interested in attending at least one day of the festival. To help spread the word, local stationery printers will likely be asked to provide advertising.
