Moms’ fitness center to reopen with festivities

The Lewis Center Fit4Mom is planning a celebration for its grand reopening.

The center has a new owner, Terra Kubert, who will be leading a class at the opening. The class is free to mothers, mothers-to-be, and their family members. In addition, there will be swag bags, and giveaways from the center’s national and local partners.

Fit4Mom is the largest fitness program in the country designed specifically to meet the needs of mothers, offering classes in both pre- and post-natal fitness, covering all stages of motherhood. The center’s instructors are certified, and design innovative classes that are fun, and encourage women to learn how to create and maintain a happy, healthy lifestyle.

Fit4Mom says it seeks to help mothers achieve their full potential, both emotionally and physically. The center offers education and support for mothers, and hopes to inspire them to reach their peak health. They go on to say they also want to encourage mothers to be role models for their children, and make regular physical activity and fitness part of their everyday lives.

The reopening celebration is slated for next Saturday, August 5, starting at 9:30 am in Highbanks Metro Park’s Big Meadows Picnic area. The event is free, but registration is required. Information available on the center’s website.

Events like this can benefit if organizers create festive banners, and use them to decorate the venue with motion and color.
