Upcoming festival celebrates Italian heritage

The 38th San Gennaro Feast is taking place next month in Las Vegas for five days. This biannual festival is a celebration of Italian Heritage and the patron saint of Naples.

The festival will feature a wide variety of traditional food vendors and live musical entertainment by nationally known entertainers. There will be a carnival with amusement rides and games, pony rides, face painting, and a petting zoo.

A large number of vendors will be on hand to sell food, Italian-related merchandise, and souvenirs. Booth space is still available for rental. Prices range from $1,400 to $2,000 for food and premium vendors and $600 to $1,200 for arts and crafts.

The festival will finish off with a fireworks display at 9:00 PM on May 14.

Tickets for amusement rides are $1 each, $23 for 25, and $70 for 80; unlimited wristbands are available for $25 on Wednesday and Thursday and $30 from Friday to Sunday.

In order to get more attention from festivalgoers, it is very likely that vendors will be investing in sign or banner printing services from a favorite Las Vegas printing company.

The San Gennaro Feast will be held at Craig Ranch Park from May 10 to 14. Admission is $10, or free for children 54 inches or shorter. To learn more about this festival, or to become a vendor, call 702-227-0295.
