The Glass Craft and Bead Expo is taking place in Las Vegas for five days beginning at the end of this month.

This is the largest event of its kind to be held in the United States. It is set to feature exhibitors who will be showcasing and selling many of their glass creations. There are also dozens of workshops that will teach attendees how to create many different types of glass items. Some of the topics that will be covered include making glass mandala art, weaving glass and fusing with free glass. These workshop classes will be led by experts in their field and cost $5 each for US residents and $12 for international visitors. Dennis Brady will also be giving a talk entitled “Selling your Work – Making it Work”; tickets for this are $35 each.

One popular attraction will likely be the bead bazaar where thousands of different beads will be on sale. Other activities will include a glass cutting contests and artists demonstrations.

A full program guide is published which give full details of all of the workshops. No doubt this will be provided by a Las Vegas brochure printing firm.

The Glass Craft and Bead Expo will be held at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa from March 29 to April 2. Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors and military. Call 702-734-0070 for more information.
