Holidays arrive in Vegas this month

November 3, 2017 by

The 29th Festival of Trees and Lights is taking place over two days next month in Las Vegas. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Down Syndrome Organization of Southern Nevada (DSOSN).

The event features plenty of Christmas trees and wreaths that have been decorated by volunteers. There will also be gingerbread houses, stockings, and baskets. Santa will be making an appearance and there will be a variety of entertainment during the evening. During the event, the DSOSN will be handing out the Community Impact and Volunteer of the Year Awards.

The second night of the festival is the gala night. There will be live and silent auctions and live entertainment. Guests will also enjoy a sit-down dinner.

Sponsorships are available from $2,475 up to $25,000.

This is sure to be a popular event for families in Las Vegas. Many of those who will be decorating trees and wreaths may purchase items such as banners to add to their designs.

The Festival of Trees and Lights will be held at the South Point Hotel and Casino on November 16 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Ticket prices range from $4 up to $30. The gala will be held on November 17 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM, and tickets are $275 each.
