Festival to light up the Vegas skies

October 14, 2017 by

The 7th annual Balloon Festival is taking place over three days this month in Las Vegas, and is a fundraiser for the Public Education Foundation’s High School to Healthcare Scholarship.

The days will be filled with displays of a large number of hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes. There will be balloon launches, tethered hot air balloon rides, and nightly balloon glows where operators take to the sky in the dark. Children’s activities such as arts and crafts, face painting, and a photo booth will be present, and there are set to be amusement rides and carnival games.

One day of the festival is set to feature a health fair. Visitors will be able to get free health checks such as blood pressure, and receive their yearly flu shots. The Las Vegas Metro Police Search and Rescue Dive Boat will also be on hand.

Vendors will be available all three days to sell a variety of merchandise. Food trucks are also expected to be there.

Stationery printing companies in Las Vegas are often asked to provide printed advertising for events such as this.

The Balloon Festival will be held at Southern Hills Hospital from October 20 to 22. Admission is free of charge. For the most current information, visit the event website.
