Fall is the time to help the animals

Las Vegas will be the location of two separate fundraisers for animals, both big and small.

The first event is the 6th annual Pawcasso Art and Silent Auction gala, which raises funds for a number of local animal rescue groups in the Las Vegas area. Guests will enjoy good food, wine, and musical entertainment provided by Rahmaan Phillip. There will also be a silent auction featuring art, and raffle tickets are available for $2 each or $10 for six.

The following week is the Fall Festival at Double Y Ranch. It is hosted by the Big Paw Project and proceeds will be donated to the Farmanity Project that rescues horses and other large animals. The festival is set to feature pet adoptions from local shelters, a kids’ zone, and live entertainment. There will also be raffles and food trucks. Local vendors will be on hand to sell a variety of pet-related products and services.

Both of these events will likely attract plenty of Las Vegas residents. To spread the word, organizers may invest in brochures and flyers.

The Pawcasso Art and Silent Auction event will be held at the Arts Factory on October 7 from 6:30 to 9:30 PM. Tickets are $25 each. To learn more, visit the event website.

The Fall Festival will be held at Double Y Ranch on October 15 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Admission is free. For more information, go to the Facebook page.
