The World Tea Expo is taking place in Las Vegas next month for three days.

The event is both a conference and a trade expo, and though mainly for those in the tea trade, the general public is welcome to attend the trade expo.

Prior to the conference, there will be two days of seminars on the topics of the tea businesses and World Tea Academy Live.

During the conference itself, attendees will be able to attend seminars on current trends in the industry and retail solutions. There will also be a four-hour skill-building workshop. Other topics of discussion will be sustainability, branding and career paths. Among the speakers will be Will Battle, Heather Agosta, Ravi Pillai, and Shabnam Weber.

There will be tasting tour of international teas and tastings, a World of Tea book release party with author Jane Pettigrew and the World Tea Awards and opening cocktail reception.

The fee for the entire conference, including the pre-conference seminars is $1,195. Admission to the expo floor is $75 for those in the trade and $295 for the public.

It is likely that many of the guests attending this Las Vegas event will be bringing their business cards to exchange with their industry peers.

The World Tea Expo will be held at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino and the Las Vegas Convention Center from June 12 to 14. Visit the event website for more information.
