Country-style Independence Day comes to Clark County

June 30, 2017 by

The Henderson 4th of July Celebration is taking place next month, presented by the City of Henderson.

Families from Las Vegas and other surrounding communities who are looking for a family-friendly, traditional celebration will likely be drawn to this celebration. To help spread the word in the area, organizers may invest in flyers that can be distributed throughout the city.

The celebration will have interactive games such as water hamster ball and bungee. There will be a Ferris wheel, bounce houses, and a sand art activity. Other activities will include lots of lawn games like cornhole and a recycled water wall. Guests can also have their faces painted or receive henna tattoos. In addition, kids will be able to make and wear Independence Day hats.

All kinds of food will be available for purchase from local community organizations. There will also be live musical entertainment and a firework display at 9:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs to watch comfortably.

For those looking to contribute, sponsorships are available to ensure this event continues in the future.

The Henderson 4th of July Celebration will be held at Heritage Park on July 4 from 1:00 to 9:00 PM. Admission is free. To find out more about the day’s activities, contact the City of Henderson at 702-267-5707.
