Family festival promises lots of fun

The Family Extravaganza is coming to Largo next month. It is presented by the City of Largo.

There will be lots of fun activities for children of all ages to take part in during the day. The Largo Central Railroad will be offering free rides and there will also be Rocketship car rides and storytellers. There are set to be Playing! Unplugged stations where visitors can try their hand at archery and kayaking. The stations will also feature a toddler/infant zone where children can play in the mud or in the sand, a bird zone where guests can interact with live birds and craft activities.

The Touch a Truck area will have fire trucks, buses, dump trucks and military vehicles; kids will be able to honk the horns, run the sirens, etc. The Bayflight helicopter will also be visiting for a couple of hours.

The festival will also have a food court where people can relax a bit and enjoy some tasty treats.

No doubt organizers of this event will be working with a Largo print company to produce flyers to be distributed in the area.

The Family Extravaganza will be held at Largo Central Park on April 1 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. Contact Christine De Voe at 727-587-6700 to learn more.
