Business event showcases local companies

The 2017 Business After Hours Expo is taking place next month in Largo. It is a presentation of the Women’s Leadership Committee of the Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce.

There are expected to be over 50 businesses represented at the expo. Each has purchased a showcase table for $250. It will give them an opportunity to showcase their newest products and services and help them to make contact with other business leaders in the community. It will also give business owners the chance to gain new customers.

Guests will be entered into draws for door prizes and many of the exhibitors will likely be handing out promotional products such as pens and fridge magnets. In previous years, local restaurants have also been on hand to provide free samples of their food.

Events like this are a great opportunity for small business leaders to make connections with those who can help them to succeed. No doubt many planning to attend will be placing a new order for digital business cards. There will be plenty of chances during the afternoon to discuss business and exchange cards.

The Business After Hours Expo will be held at the Central Park Performing Arts Center on February 16 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. To learn more, contact the Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce at 727-584-2321.
