Presidents Day goes to the dogs in Palm Beach

February 10, 2016 by

The Presidents Day Celebration is taking place this month at the Palm Beach Kennel Club, and will also be the observance of the 84th birthday of the Club.

This event is free for the entire family to attend, and there should be at least one activity to appeal to each person. There will be music from the Old Hippies throughout the day, along with birthday cake and giveaways.

Special guests for the day are set to include ESPN’s John Martin and the Street Team. There will also be appearances for the kids by Ace the Poker Bear and Karl Koppertop, who will make balloon creations. The celebration will kick off with the National Anthem sung by Rena Montero-Mask.

Guests can enjoy watching some races during the event and have lunch at the Paddock Restaurant. In addition, several greyhound rescue organizations will be on hand to provide information on how people can adopt the dogs.

No doubt families from all over Palm Beach County, including nearby Lake Worth will be interested in finding out about this event. To help spread the word, organizers may have invested in brochure printing services.

The Presidents Day Celebration and birthday observance will take place next Monday, February 15, from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm. Admission is free. Contact Sarah Mears of the Palm Beach Kennel Club at 561-683-222 for more information.
