Lake Worth planning world’s largest street painting festival

One of South Florida’s signature events will be back to Lake Worth this winter, and the public is welcome to come out and enjoy the festivities while supporting the local artistic community.

The Lake Worth Street Painting Festival will feature works from more than 600 artists, and there are many other activities on the agenda as well. A variety of musicians and other entertainers will take to the stage, and the foodies in the crowd can head to the restaurants, festival food court, and bistro, which will be set up for the occasion.

The festival, which started back in 1995, is brought to the city through the support of local sponsors and volunteers, and its organizers note that it is the largest function of its kind in the whole world. Admission is free, and the proceeds from tips in the beer tent will be donated to Wheels for Kids, which is a group that supplies custom wheelchairs for children and youth in the local area who have special needs. Poster printing can be utilized by printers in the area to craft a variety of promotional materials and other items for an event like this.

This huge outdoor art festival has been planned for February 24 and 25, and all are welcome. The function’s website contains additional information about the celebration for anyone who needs it.
