Summit discusses future of marketing

The Modern Marketing Summit (MMS): Gamechangers is taking place next month in the Bay area.

It is dedicated to the challenges faces by modern marketers including mobile marketing, ad technology and various new formats.

The day will start off with a breakfast where attendees will have the opportunity to network with their peers. After that there will be speeches by a number of people involved in the marketing community including Michael Lacorazza from Wells Fargo, Gina Garrubbo of National Public Media, Chris Wallace from Mindshare and CARAT’s Tia Shaw. There will also be several panel discussions on topics like redefining marketing agencies, the future of experimental marketing and describing the modern marketing leader.

There will be more networking opportunities during lunch or the several breaks throughout the day. Attendees can also take part in a pitch-off; participants will give a 60-second pitch and the winner will be chosen by the audience. The winner will receive a consultation with Wells Fargo.

This event will no doubt attract marketing services companies and personnel from all over the Bay Area including nearby Lafayette.

The Modern Marketing Summit will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on November 1. Summit fees are $1,295 although free passes are available upon request online. Visit the official website to learn more.
