The 16th annual Taste of Lafayette is taking place this month, presented by the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.

This is a restaurant walk that is set to visit many of the top restaurants and businesses in downtown Lafayette.

The day will start off with a reception where guests will be served appetizers, beer and wine, and there will also be musical entertainment. The reception will be held in the Taste Pavilion near the Bank of the West at Mt. Diablo Boulevard and Lafayette Circle.

Later, guests will move on down Restaurant Row to participate in tastings in over 25 participating restaurants and local organizations where they will also be treated to coffee and tea. Guests can purchase raffle tickets for $25 each or five for $100. The draw will be held at the end of the night and proceeds will be donated to the Lafayette Community Foundation.

Some of this year’s participating restaurants are Barranco, Uncle Yu’s and Cooperage; organizations include the Back to the Table Cooking School.

For events like this, Lafayette stationery printers are often asked to provide tickets and flyers for advertising.

The Taste of Lafayette will be held on May 15 from 5:30 to 9:30 PM. Tickets are $55 each, which includes unlimited tastings. For the most recent information, contact Sara Regan at 925-2840-7404.
