Circus comes to Kingston

October 7, 2016 by

In a couple of weeks the Garden Bros Circus will be coming to Kingston. This year will mark the circus’s 100th anniversary and will be the last year for all of us to see live elephants.

The Globe of Doom will contain the motorcycle daredevils spinning and somersaulting in “Motorcycle Madness.” Chinese acrobats will be displaying their skills and so will the Human Slingshot. The crowd will also get to see the Racing Camels. Crazy antics of the clowns, feats of daring-do by aerialists and performances by other cirque artists and trained animals that circus guests have come to expect and love will all be there in the 1½ hour show.

One hour before each performances ticket holders can enjoy the Fun Zone. Here will be rides and activities including a meet and greet with the circus people. Pictures taken with family members and their favorite circus performers will make interesting subjects for future poster printing.

Popcorn, cotton candy, funnel cakes and Sno-cones will be available for purchase.

This circus will be presented in a real circus tent. This Big Top is 70 feet tall and can accommodate over 1000 people.

The circus will be coming to the Kingston Armory, 280 Market Street, Wilkes-Barre on October 15th. It will have three performances – one at 1:30 pm, one at 4:30 and one at 7:30
