The Palm Beach County Parks and Rec will be throwing its annual C3: Coastal Conservation and Concert later this month. The event will be a celebration of coastal conservation and habitats.

The event will have a Vendor Village where local merchandise will be available for purchase. Along with the merchandise vendors, there will be food and beverage merchants and nonprofit organizations, including conservation and beach cleanup groups. These will be passing out flyers that explain their missions and programs.

Around 30 vendors and exhibitors will be on hand. Among the conservation and cleanup groups that guests will be able to meet and discuss issues with are Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Beach Guardians Atlantic Coast, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and Friends of Jupiter Beach.

Groups like Jupiter Medical Center will be there to give advice on healthy living, while Palm Beach State College will be on-hand for those considering higher education.

Live music will be presented by Viva Classic Rock Band. Attendees will get to enjoy the sounds of classic groups such as Frankie Vallee and the Four Seasons, the Beatles, and the Beach Boys.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 24 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Seabreeze Amphitheater, in Carlin Park, 400 S. S.R. A1A here in Jupiter. The concert will run from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
