The 14th Annual Palm Beach Jerk and Caribbean Culture Festival will be in full swing over Memorial Day Weekend again this year.

Full-A-Vybez Inc and 411 Pain will once again be hosting the event. Celebrating Caribbean culture in music, food and everything Jamaican will be the focus. Fans from here in Jupiter will be among the 10,000 people that are expected to attend.

Guests, vendors, dancers, and musicians will be wearing costumes that represent Caribbean’s unique heritage. There will be jerk cook-off contests, along with plenty of Caribbean delicacies and jerk-inspired food such as jerk chicken, lobster, fish, pork, popcorn, ice cream, and non-alcoholic tropical drinks.

Caribbean-themed arts and crafts items can be purchased from local vendors. Children will have their own Kids’ Zone where they can bounce in the bounce houses, buy carnival trinkets and treats, and get their faces painted.

Reggae groups will be entertaining thousands of fans. Some performers this year will be Half Pint, Wayne Wonder, Tarrus Riley, and Assassin. Fans of these performers will want to see if they can get any promotional items such as T-shirts, hats and promotional drinkware.

The fun will be at West Palm Beach’s South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Blvd in West Palm Beach. Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, starting at 2:00 pm and ending sometime around 10:00 pm. Kids under 12 can get in free.
