In a few days, the ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival will be upon us once again. The festival usually attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year. Proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities.

One attraction will be the ArtiGras Circus in the ArtiKids Area. Circus-themed art projects will be presented by local organizations. There will be face painting, glitter tattoos, circus games, and a large sandbox area.

The Artist Demonstration Stage will have resident experts demonstrating art techniques, discussing them, and answering questions.

A Fine Arts Area will showcase over 300 local, regional and national artists. A total of more than $17,000 in awards will be given to winners in 12 fine arts categories. Handmade items for the backyard, home, and garden will be for sale in the Garden Art Area. A total of 10 local artists will be featured in the Emerging Artist section.

The Main Stage will offer music such as R&B, jazz, and island music. Children from the ages of 3 to 13 can buy artwork in Tiny Treasures. Proceeds from this area will be donated to the Quantum House.

Pictures taken at this event will surely make eye-catching additions to the city’s tourist guide brochures.

The event is slated for February 18, 19, and 20 in Abacoa Center Boulevard, Jupiter. Times will be 10:00 am until 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday and 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on Monday.
