Jefferson crawfish lovers set to unite for a cause

A feast has been planned for Jefferson area crawfish fans that will let them help fund cancer research while they enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal with their friends.

This will be Crawfish for Cancer’s first ever New Orleans’s boil, and it will offer unlimited food and drinks. The open bar will be serving up signature cocktails, and some of the city’s top eateries will be going head to head in a friendly “boil off” to see who has the best recipe.

The tickets for the occasion are all inclusive, and along with the food and drinks, there will be music, dancing and lots of fun. The proceeds will go to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, which is helping to find a cure for this disease.

There are only a limited number of tickets being sold, and they start at $65 each for the first 200 sold. After this, the price will go up. A printing services provider can provide an event like this with everything from banners to custom drinkware and other promotional products.

This afternoon of food, fun and friendship will be hitting the city on April 2, and the doors are set to open at 12:00 noon. It will be held at 1380 Port of New Orleans Place. The Crawfish for Cancer Facebook page includes more information and a chance to purchase tickets before they are all sold out.
