Recently, ‘Room To Go’, the biggest independent furniture company in the country, hosted a grand opening at its new huntsville location.

Situated just off University Drive, where Madison Square Mall used to be, the new furniture store gave away prizes as part of its celebratory grand opening. Additionally, the store said it would be making donations to Kids To Love, a local non-profit.

Janis Altshuler, Room to Go’s Senior Vice President of Direct Marketing, said that Huntsville had been on the company’s radar as a future location for some time. The only hold-up for the furniture company has been finding the optimal location.

Once the ideal location had been found, the next challenge was selection the best printing company to supply their catalog printing and mailing services

The opening of Rooms To Go fits in nicely with Huntsville’s grand plan to revitalize the area, and according to Althshur, the company could nt be happier. She explained:

“We are very excited to be here. It’s a fast growing and vibrant community. We love areas that are growing or on the rebound, because people are fixing up their homes and there are new homes being built.”

Rooms to Go started in 1991 and opened its maiden showroom in Orlando, Florida. Today, the company operates more than 150 showrooms scattered throughout 10 states.
