Huntsville Comic Convention promises unique experience

‘Geeks’ of the Tennessee Valley will be out in full force for the first Comic-Con hosted by Lowe Mill A&E in Huntsville.

SuperPowered Studios is partnering with Lowe Mill A&E, the largest privately owned art facility in the country, to host the Huntsville Comic Convention. The two-day event will provide an entertaining option for those wishing to celebrate comic book and geek culture, as well as their less geeky family members.

The entire facility, a redeveloped 1901 cotton mill, will be open throughout the convention with guests, panels, dealers, and performances being scattered throughout the premises. Attendees will be able to explore the nooks and crannies of the historic structure during the convention.

Commonly a two-pronged print campaign is employed to promote an event such as this. While banners are employed at the site to garner attention and help identify the location, a poster printing service will also be employed to create any number of more in-depth advertisements to be scattered over a city and beyond.

DC and Marvel Comic Artists will be on hand both days and over 500 tables of merchandise will be available as well. Each night will have its own entertainment.

The Huntsville Comic-Con will be a two-day event taking place 10:00 am to 8:00 pm both today and tomorrow. The event is free for children under 12, while adults pay $10 per day or $15 for both days.
