The Houston Open is taking place beginning on the last week of this month. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to various local charities.

144 golfers from all around the world will be competing for $6 million dollars in prize money. Among those taking part this year are last year’s winner Matt Jones, Padraig Harrington and Lee Westwood.

In addition to the main golf tournament, there will also be pro-am and pro-junior games. There will also be a Greater Houston Champions Challenge and a Junior Golf Skills Challenge.

In addition to the grounds admission, guests can take advantage of a couple of VIP options. Club 16 costs an extra $89 each day and gives purchasers access to the skybox and lounge on the 16th hole. The Groundskeeper is $200 on Thursday and $250 from Friday to Sunday; it also includes access to the skybox and lounge as well as food and drink.

No doubt golf fans from all over the world will flock to Humble to enjoy this prestigious tournament. It is likely organizers will invest in brochure printing services to advertise.

The Houston Open will be held at the Golf Club of Houston in Humble from March 26 to April 1. Tickets cost $40 for Wednesday or Thursday and $35 for Friday or Saturday; various passes are also available. For the most current information, visit the official event website.
