The 22nd Children’s Festival is taking place for two days next month in The Woodlands.

There will be plenty of activities during the two days that will appeal to children of all ages, with multiple stages featuring dancers, musicians, and wildlife. The main event on Saturday will be Jack Hanna’s ‘Into the Wild’ live show featuring exotic animals. On Sunday, the ‘Berenstain Bears’ live show will entertain.

There will be meet and greets with characters, art activities, “touch a truck”, and a Cub Corner for children aged four and under. Various zones will be set up, such as the S.T.E.A.M Zone featuring scientific experiments, and the Active Rhino Zone offering karate, tumbling, and other fitness activities.

Other activities will include a petting zoo, bungee jumpers, inflatable bumper cars, and bounce houses. In the Skyfari zone, children will be able to design and build their own kits as well as fly them.

This event will likely be widely advertised in the area, including the nearby community of Humble. Organizers may work with a local marketing services company to help spread the word.

The Children’s Festival will be held at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands from November 11 to 12. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. For the most current information, call 281-364-3010.
