Kingwood Summerfest comes to Humble area

For parents looking for an exciting way to end the school year with their kids, the Kingwood Summerfest in Humble starts the summer season with a bang.

Between the School of Rock, DJ MK, and more, kids and parents are both likely to find themselves entertained at this yearly event.

The event features live music from artists exclusively from the Lake Houston area, as well as dance troupes and musicians. Food trucks will offer refreshments, and kids can enjoy both pony rides and a petting zoo.

The festival will also include a vendor market, which will feature over 100 craft and art booths from area vendors. Items will include pants, florals, soaps, vintage items, home décor, jewelry, and fashion. Vendors often use professional business card printing to create easy ways for customers to reach them after the show is over.

Kids can also take the edge off the summer heat in the kids’ zone, which features tricycle races, a dunking booth, water hamster balls, bungee jumps, inflatables, and kids’ craft tents. Bringing coolers and lawn chairs is also welcome.

Kingwood Summerfest will be held this Saturday, June 3, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Those looking to participate as vendors, performers, or in other roles, should contact the event organizers through the website. To find out the complete schedule of events and plan for the day, the website also contains a list of performers and performer times.
