The Houston Crawfish, Crab and Grill Festival is taking place in Humble next month, and is a fundraiser for the As One Foundation and the Southwest American Systems Chamber of Commerce.

There will be lots of food available for purchase prepared by some of the top chefs in the area. There will also be musical entertainment from artists such as Lil Nate and The Zydeco Big Timers, Dana Jackson, and La Eminencia. DJs Wildboijake, Texas Outlaw, and Pixel will also be performing.

There will be a crawfish eating contest, a mechanical bull ride called El Toro Loco, and a variety of local vendors selling all sorts of general merchandise and crafts. The children will not be forgotten, with kid-friendly entertainment such as rides, bouncy castles and face painting. Kids can also enter a raffle to win a crawfish boil set.

Several VIP packages are available; for example, for $40 guests will have access to all of the entertainment plus two pounds of crawfish and two beverages. For $100 they can purchase $120 worth of drink tickets.

Humble print shops are often asked to help advertise events such as this by providing flyers and other printed materials.

The Houston Crawfish, Crab and Grill Festival will be held at Humble Civic Center and Arena on May 12 from 2:00 to 10:00 PM. General admission tickets are $10 in advance or $20 at the gate. Call 281-931-4993 for more information.
