The 1st annual iPLaN Expo is taking place next month in Humble.

The theme is ‘Innovate! Technological, Production and Design Advances in the Events Industry’. It is aimed at event planners in all disciplines and showcases event resources for the Texas Gulf Coast area.

There will be a variety of expert speakers, and organizers are still accepting abstracts from those who wish to speak at this first expo.

A number of vendors will be on hand to showcase the variety of resources that event planners have at their disposal. Vendor spaces are available for $500 for a regular booth, $600 for a corner booth, and $900 for a double. Being a vendor offers a way for local companies to make their names known in the event industry and for planners to access resources that can help them create unforgettable events for the public.

As it will be a networking opportunity for event planners in the Houston and Humble area, it is likely that most of those planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order in advance. There will be plenty of opportunities to exchange cards with business peers.

The expo will be held at the Humble Civic Center on October 15. Tickets are priced at $50 now that the early bird offer has passed. For the latest information, visit the official convention website.
