The 111th Aero Squadron (aka Ace in the Hole) 100th-anniversary celebration is taking place next month in Houston, raising funds for the Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation.

The Aero Squadron is part of the Texas Air National Guard and it is the second oldest one in the United States.

The celebration will start off with a VIP cocktail reception for sponsors. Sponsorships are available for $1,500 up to $25,000, and are being accepted until July 28. Sponsors will also have the opportunity to place samples, advertisements, and promotional products in the gift bags that everyone will receive at this Houston event.

The evening will feature a Tex-Mex buffet dinner and an auction. Musical entertainment will be provided by Ms. Morgan McKay. Those who purchase tickets early may receive an 111th Aero Squadron anniversary coin. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the many exhibits at Space Center Houston.

The Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation helps service members and families of the Texas Military Forces. This help includes financial assistance, medical support, and funding for memorial projects.

The celebration will be held at Space Center Houston on August 12 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $50 per person. More information about what to expect can be found on the Texas National Guard Family Support Foundation’s website.
